Scouts' Honour

Our Vision: for all people with creative talent to make art, have audiences and be seen

Our Aim: to use our collective's resources to champion queer and female-identifying art and artists

Based in Melbourne, Camp Conscious began as a self-funded, pop-up hub of venues at the Melbourne Fringe 2019, aiming to create a new, nurturing platform to showcase queer and femme performance artists.

Matt, Ali and Sam are independent creatives and arts workers, tapping away behind the scenes to create new platforms, opportunities and relationships. Scouts' honour: we believe in the value of representation, of community, and of utilising our skills to foster the diversity, inclusion and accessibility of Australia's cultural sector for our queer and femme friends.

Camp Conscious Collective wishes to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which this project was created on, and extend our respect to all elders of our nation past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
